Companies House is introducing mandatory identity verification for directors, Persons with Significant Control (PSCs),
and anyone who files on a company’s behalf.
Verification can be done directly with Companies House or indirectly through an ACSP like me.
In future, only verified individuals and registered ACSPs will be able to file most information.

Notes on timing and rollout
Companies House is phasing in identity verification and ACSP registration. Registration for ACSPs opened in March 2025, with voluntary IDV from April and compulsory IDV expected in autumn 2025 (subject to government/Companies House updates). I’ll keep you informed of any changes that affect your deadlines
